YouTube begins rolling out live-streaming via app, starting with creators. The good news is that you don’t need to download a separate app to go live — it’s built right into the YouTube app. The Live button will sit at the top of the app, and once you tap it you can write a title, take a picture for the thumbnail, and start streaming.
Live video choices have expanded, with YouTube live joining Facebook, Instagram and Twitter’s Periscope. Which one is best?
The answer is pretty simple — where are your friends and followers? If you have a big base on Facebook, you’ll probably prefer going live there. But if you have a good subscriber count on YouTube, you’ll get more action there.
